The story so far..

What started with a lycra suit has become a global journey. In a nearly 20 year career, Kiah Tucker, has performed in every radio time slot and more across three continents on his way to becoming a standout breakfast radio talent.

After starting his on-air career in outback South Australia (note, the lycra story is omitted), Kiah spent the next year gathering invaluable big city experience while filling in for evenings on SAFM and Triple M, Adelaide.  In late 2003 he was hired as the inaugural afternoon drive host for the launch of Hot91, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

In 2006, after a fun and successful two and a half years, during which his duo-drive show rated number one in the station target demo, Kiah left for London, England, to travel while working mainly in television production through England, Wales, Scotland, Spain and Uganda.

In 2007, after departing the UK for Vancouver, Canada, he returned to radio full time as the evening host of 95Crave. During the next year his evening ratings doubled before the station relaunched as Virgin Radio 953 in 2008 and he was elevated to the midday (12-3) shift. That same year saw another step up, this time to the afternoon drive show where he teamed up with Tara Jean Stevens as, 'Kiah & Tara Jean'. The show saw enormous success (2008-2012) reaching number one in target demographics (F25-44) and twice being named, 'Broadcast performer of the Year', by the British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB).

In 2012, 'Kiah & Tara Jean', were hired as the breakfast show at 969 Jack FM, Vancouver, where they doubled the time slot ratings in the first six months A25-54 and reached number one in mid 2015.

Kiah is married to his Canadian wife, Michelle, and together they have two young children, Theodore and Josephine. He's a sports nut, loves cars, fashion, food and wine, traveling and misses the sun.
